Space Rental

Access

The Prototype studio is approximately 1,000 square feet. There are two sides to the studio: one side is focused on co-working and the other side is focused on workshops and events. The two sides are separated by folding doors so you can choose to rent half of Prototype (500 sq ft) or the entire studio.

Free parking is available in the back lot and along the street. We are also within a few blocks of many major bus routes and stops including the Neville Street and Centre Ave bus stop.

Amenities

• The entire Prototype studio can fit 20 people for workshops and 30 people for standing room only

• Wifi available

• Furniture available to use includes 20 folding chairs, 4 tables on wheels, 3 desks on wheels, 5 office chairs, and 3 barstools

• Bar area with water cooler, microwave, tea kettle, and refrigerator

• A projector and laptop is also available for use

Requirements

• Events must end no later than 10pm

• No smoking inside the building

• All artwork and posters on the wall will remain displayed during rentals

Setup and Cleanup

• Renters are responsible for cleanup of the space

• Prototype has mops, brooms, and cleaning supplies available on-site

• All trash and recycling must be taken to the dumpsters and recycling bins in the back parking lot after the event

Prototype Rental Fees

• Members who want to organize a public event should fill out a workshop proposal form

• Entire studio (1,000 square feet)

  • $300 for private events hosted by non-members (up to 3 hours)

  • $150 for private events organized by members (up to 3 hours)

• Half the studio (500 square feet)

  • $150 for private events hosted by non-members (up to 3 hours)

  • $75 for private events hosted by members (up to 3 hours)
